Constantine the emperor of Rome, born February 27, 272 AD and died May 22, 337 AD was the emperor of Rome from 306 AD until his death.

In 327 AD Constantine convened a council to officially make Christianity the religion of Rome.(18. A History of Christian Doctrine, Volume 1)
The man-made trinity doctrine which was based on pagan beliefs was submitted and was originally rejected by the council, thus keeping Christ as the head.
The Apostolic new birth message was no longer taught, but was replaced by the Nicaean Creed. (19. A History of Christian Doctrine, Volume 1)
