Conclusions

In the early 1900s, the Holy Spirit was again sought for and received with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as noted in the Bible, and the new Pentecostal movement began.  Those Pentecostal churches which kept the politically man-made-trinity doctrine and water baptism by sprinkling and or baptizing in the titles of God (Father, Son & Holy Ghost), and or the cessation of perfecting holiness unto God through attitude and dress, or other non-Biblical doctrines are now known as Charismatic Churches.

Do I believe that the Lord Jesus abandoned His church for 2000 years?

No, I don't believe that, but I do believe that in many ways, man made churches have abandoned Jesus and His teaching. Didn't Jesus say that a person would have to be a doer of the Word, not just a hearer only to make it through the storms of life? According to the Bible, a person still must be born again to enter into Heaven, period. That is according to the teachings Jesus and the Apostles. You must be born of the water (baptized n Jesus name) and born of the Spirit (receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other languages as the Spirit gives the utterance). There is no other way given by God. It is interesting to me that the original Greek word used for the word 'believe' actually means to give oneself completely and utterly to. The Bible clearly teaches us what we must do, but yet many try to teach a 'new gospel' though God and His Word didn't change. Could it be that the enemy of our souls has convinced many to believe a lie because they didn't have a love for the Truth? Unfortunately the devil has been tricking people from the beginning of mankind.
The Lord said He was still looking for those that would worship Him in spirit (the small "s" used in this Scripture indicates that it is referring to the human spirit) and in truth. (John 4:24)   Unfortunately, believing a partial truth is no different than believing a lie.  It is, therefore, no wonder why the Lord Jesus could show us in Scripture (Matt. 7:22-24)
that in that day in which only the Lord Himself knows, many will say Lord, Lord have we not cast out devils and done many wonderful works in Your name, and He will say to them, depart from me worker of iniquity (translated lawlessness from the original Greek), I never knew you.  It truly is a narrow path that leads to life and few will find it.
It truly is a narrow path considering that those who seek and obey truth over tradition have always been in the minority throughout history, yet have remained. Rightly divide the Bible and seek this God-sent salvation for yourself. Don't be deceived by the man-made traditions and imitations that are in our world today. Remember that antichrist actually means pseudo-Christ according to the original teaching. Asked the Lord for yourself for the Truth, and don't be surprised if He leads you right to it. Jesus truly loves you more than you can imagine. Open your heart door and let Him in, He is knocking.
